received a call from Annie with Cyber Wizard to fix all the problems on my computer with microsoft - asked how they knew I had a computer and it had problems and was told because I was the registered owner of a microsoft operating system. Wanted me to go to my computer and give them information - NO WAY. I hope they don't call back - scammers.
I've been called tonight and gave access then had them give me more info then sign off my computer when they did I shut computer and wifi off am I safe.
I just received a call from Boris Norman from 201-234-4604. He immediately began telling he was with Microsoft Windows and that a world wide virus was attacking our computers with Windows 7, Vista, and windows xp and asked me to click on the windows icon (which I did not do) followed with instructions to click a certain box and kept telling me what to write in a blank - eventvwr - and click o.k. I did none of this but was courious where this was going. I told him I did not have time to do this now but asked for his ph # which he readily gave me. At first I thought this was for real but I then entered the number for any responses. I was releived to know this is a hoax and I am proud of myself this time that I did not fall for this scam to gain access to my computer. Thank you for posting these messages to save us lots of trouble and future problems.
I have recieved 4 horrible phone calls from this number.The last one came from a man that was angry at me earlier and threatend me that he was going to rape my children and blow my house up. I am waiting for the police to get here. i recorded the whole conversation. The number they gave me was 201-234-4604 although it came across my caller id as 0000000000000 and also 730149
