Just missed a call on my cell phone from 201-243-3365. They left no voice mail. I called the number back and their recording was a static and broken female voice just enough to make it out but so annoying to listen to. It said please press any key to be added to the do not call list. I stayed on the line and did nothing and they eventually hung up on me. I called back and they hung up on me right away. I believe it's a scam and they get our phone numbers from phone apps. Or else they just have a BOT that randomly dials until people answer. Whatever, I never interacted with any human so I believe that by pressing any key must activate something for them with our phone should we press any key. I suggest blocking this number, 201-243-3365, and should you answer, never give em what they want >> don't press any keys! Turds lie on the bottom for a reason...
Received a call from this number (201-243-3365) today, June 21 @ 10:44 AM. I did not pick, as I never pick up from unrecognized callers. Thanks for all the information provided on this site.
I will file an online report to the FCC, which seems to work much better than having my number on the Do Not Call List. If you would like to do the same, here is the link: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints. It takes about 2-3 minutes to complete.
I got a call from this number at 12:39 PM on June 21,21013, called ID said it was from Barlett Inc., have no idea of who or what this company is calling about. No message left.
