Another early morning wake up call from "Card Member Services"
I am on the donotcall.gov and it's a waste of time to be registered. I have reported dozens of these and have yet to see one fined, or get even a reply from the government.
I used to get calls from this number 3-4 times a day. Credit Card Services wanting to lower my interest rate. (that's great....I have one credit card and it's at 0% so good luck). It stopped for a few months. Well, they must have missed calling my number because they called today. Don't ANSWER. Never ANSWER. Never Give ANY info. If you didn't go out seeking for their services, chances are it's a scam.
The "Do Not Call" list is not a joke. The problem is these phony companies do not care about the "Do Not Call" list and use spoofed phone numbers so that it is almost impossible to trace them. I have recieved the exact same message from phone numbers in different area codes from all over the country. They continually change phone numbers every week to stay hidden.
