Yes, this is one of MANY phone numbers WaMu uses (they call from WA, AZ, GA, NV & the list goes on). The part that is odd is that they don't respond when I have had the ability to answer any their calls. All because they will not consider payment arrangements we have attempted to make with them. I am going to just start turning my ringer off.
They called me 4 times throughout the day yesterday. Left no message. Don't know who these people are. I reported this # to the no call list in WI. But if you google this # it's MCImetro ATs in Dragell, NJ. Don't know anyone in NJ.
this guy tried to tell me i have a mastercard bill and how did i want to take care of that.
i don't have a mastercard, what a dumbass. i tried berrating him off the phone, told him he has the info wrong, he insisted, he is willing to stay on the phone and push through. don't give him anything.
Guy with Indian accent called stating that he was from WaMu Collections, but I know it is a scam! He was phishing for my checking account number, claiming my husband was 20 days past due on his WaMu account and owes a $123 payment. I offered to give him my husband's phone number and he refused. I told him I have been receiving fraudulent text messages lately and there was no way he was going to get my info over the phone. I hung up and called my husband. Hubby immediately called the WaMu number on his statement and they said his account is up to date. Do not give these people any bank info!! Hang up and call your credit card company directly yourself. I also spoke with WaMu costomer service and they said the valid number for WaMu COllections is 1-800-280-9441
this # has called my house 3x's today and my cell 2x's. after calling them back about 6x's before reaching anyone, letting them have it, and i mean really have it, i thought that was it for the day. oh, no--about 7:30pm, would you believe a woman called me again? i have started documenting the calls--i told them on both calls "i didn't give a rat's a-- if the call was being monitored, recorded or whatever, and told them what they could do with there recording." i just sent them a payment last week of $100. and owe them $65. which i told them i would get to them as soon as possible. (this was a telephone conversation 4 days ago--they have called everyday since, even though i told them i would send it.)i am sick of their harassment.
