I am called from 210-280-8488 it comes back to MCI Metro ATS out of San Antonia,Texas. I answer but no one talks, they call 8-12 times a day. How do you make them stop.
I have been called 4 times in the last few hours 8:39, 9:23, 10:01, 10:50. When I answer nobody is there. I try to call them back and it doesn't even give a company name it just says that I have called the customer service department and then there are "no customer service agents available at this time." Apparently they are not available because they are too busy calling people repeatedly and hanging up!
I never fall for this garbage either but they had a business only e-mail of mine that is fairly new and I'm not sure how they got it. I just had rotator cuff surgery so I thought it may have been something my wife set-up while I am out of work, so I listened for a bit. Same as Chrissy above, Google related with something like $1.79 for 7 days and then another $69 charge in a week and monthly after that. I asked for them to e-mail the info and I would review then hung up, Damn medicine had me being nice and listening for a bit. Sorry I did that!
Although, I don't believe they are hanging up but have a computer generated system that waits for a live voice to tell the "real annoying person" somebody answered, then they jump on with all that excitement and state your name like they know you. Wait a second so you can make sure you speak with someone, hehe!! I'm normally very poite & cordial but NOT to somebody that is trying to scam me.
The calls started yesterday to my mobile phone. I recieved 7 calls yesterday from 5:38-8:26 called 2x's and listened to verry poor voicemail msg saying " customer service " but no company name. I also recieved 5 calls starting at 9:50 this morning. Every time I answer the call they hang up, tried the no call option #2 in their voice mail options first thing yesterday. Tried to contact to an agent but all agents are always busy.
they have just started calling me today, 4 times in the last 2 hours. i usually dont answer numbers that are unknown to me and dont leave a voice mail, from the info everybody has given it sounds like a good choice i havent answered
