These people claimed that they're from tmobile but they are not. They are scammers, they are trying to get your personal informations.
He told me that we need to settle of my outstanding bill. I told who the hell are you?? I'm current with my bill. I called tmobile just to confirmed if I'm behind on my payment, they said no. They advised to block that number on your phone.
This is tmoile they just woke me up again, I work late night!!!!!I get a call at 845- 900 am everyday.
I took the phone off the hook the other day, so they wouldn't wake me , and guess what they called my cell phone and left a long messag, he said his name is kevin from TMOBILE case work team!
I never had this problem until I decided to get a land line 2 months ago! now they have both my numbers!
So I kept getting calls from his number (no messages), looked it up, and yes - I just switched from T-Mobile too. So I called T-Mobile. Turns out I owed them money. WHY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH WOULD THEY NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE LETTING ME KNOW THIS? Instead, they just kept calling and leaving no messages for days. We'll see if this actually stops them like they say it will.
I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon as well in mid December. They do call around the same time every day. My position is if I owe them money, why wouldn't they just send me a bill vs. a collection call? They obviously have my address. I figure it's a scam.
I kept getting calls from this number multiple times a week on my work cell that has never been associated with TMobile. I called the number back and it directed to a TMobile automated phone service where I could not easily get to a live person. I called TMobile's main customer service number at 800-TMOBILE and chose the option for new service and to talk to a sales person. The rep guessed that my work cell was probably associated to another user's TMobile account and transferred me to a rep that could help with this issue.
The rep I was transferred to filled out a request to have my work cell number removed from whoever it was linked to and that was it. We'll see if I get anymore calls... The reps were really nice and helpful though. I do think it is lame that they would call and not leave messages. With it being my work phone, I thought a co-worker might be calling for support (I'm in IT) and wasn't leaving messages. I felt bad that I kept missing them until I realized the number wasn't work related.
I never had a complaint with TMobile for my personal cell service, but the phones we wanted weren't offered through TMobile so we switched to AT&T after 7 years of excellent service with TMobile. With AT&T we get dropped calls all the time. Didn't have that problem with TMobile. Also had a huge billing snafu with AT&T in the beginning that took several calls with customer service and our in-store sales person to get fixed. In the end, AT&T charges so much more for data than TMobile too. Don't know if it was worth the switch just for a certain type of phone.
