I just got a phone call from this individual claiming he was from Microsoft and that my PC was infected with a virus and being in the IT field I already knew it was a scam (Microsoft doesn't call you for pc issues) so I questioned him on it and he became defensive and then he hanged up. Public be aware with this con-artist hang up and report him right away.
I didn't answer but they call every day. Today 11-4-16 I looked up the number and saw how many comments were listed. No one picked up phone when I called. THANKS for the the heads up.
Very Indian. Calling about computer. Has called my cell 4 times in 3 days. Each time same man. I told him to take me off his list and stop calling and the jerk actually said "WHY SHOULD I". He has also called from a phone that said private number! I have blocked number and am looking to find out where to report. I'm also listed on do not call registry.
I can't believe this is still going on! Middle eastern caller who insists your computer is infected with a virus. If you want to engage this caller tell him/her you work for Microsoft or that you have a MAC. But, you should invest in a good Call Blocker and USE IT!
