Robocall saying I qualify to have debt forgiven due to lender violation of Fair Credit Reporting Act. Obviously scam or phishing because 1. phone on DNC list; 2. came to cell phone not home phone associated with loans; 3. Press 1 to be connected, or press 2 to be removed from list; 4. caller not identified; 5. robocall
I answer the phone, when it is from these credit card scammers I press 1. When the scammer asks if I am responding to lower my debt I say "I just want to know what you lying corksuckers (sp?) want to scam me out of today". If they keep talking I keep repeating the above phrase over them until they hang up. If everyone they call would do this I am sure they will tire of this tactic they use to scam people.
Got this recorded call telling me that they had urgent info regarding my accounts. "There's nothing wrong about your accounts but this is my opportunity for a better rate" or some such humbug. So I pressed one, got put on hold, and when the cheesy little twerp answered I said, "Kindly take my name off this calling list." Response was a dorky sounding "Bye, bye" and the twerp hung up. This is obviously one of those scum bug, bottom feeding companies that has a computer that calls numbers at random hoping somebody will answer. Love to file a class action suit but that would be like shoveling fleas - too many of these calls to fight over. Hope these people and their kind end up in one of the lower circles of hell where they will be shoveling burning coals on each others' backs. Commercial [***]. Spawn of Satan!!!!!!!!!!!
