I did not get a call form the company, but I found a charge of 6 Us DOllars on my Chase Card today. I called Chas and had account changed. Thanks for the info!!
I just notice today on my Chase CC account a charge from this Vandegrift outfit for $6.91 on 3/05. I did not get a phone call from them, but I tried to call them numerous times and all I got was a darn answering machine.
I got their number when I called Chase and they said it was an advertising company. Chase credited my account and the lady I talked to (Sally) said she didn't think that I needed to cancel the account and open another one, but if I wanted to I could, but to keep an eye on it for awhile for other fraudulent activity.
HAD FRAUD AiTS BEEN FIVE DAYS aLERT FROM CARD COMPANY FOR 3 RECENT INTERENT TRANSACTIONS 1 OF WHICH WAS VANDER GRIFT. CALLED THEM THEY SAID THEY WOUD CREDIT MY ACCOUNT AND ASKED FOR LAST FOUR DIGETS OF CARD USED. i DID NOT GIVE IT TO THEM JUST MY NAME AND AMOUNT. WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE CREDITED IN 5 DAYS. TODAY IS THE 5TH CALLED CARD COMPANY TO DISPUTE CHARGE AND HAVE ACCOUNT CREDITED TOLD THEM IT WAS FRAUD. ALSO REQUESTED NEW CARD AND NUMBERS.
