Had this number (201-520-9200) show up several times on my caller id on my cell. Called it back and it was a Dell customer service rep (Indian accent) asking if I was satisified with my recent Dell purchase. As I had purchased a laptop from Dell about a week prior this all made sense. He told me that he would enter my# in their system indicating that I have been reached and that the calls would cease.
Since my last service call to Dell I have about a dozen different Indians call me "to see if my problem was resolved" and making three or four suggested sells in the process.
I would rather have five Indians call from Dell CS than have to keep calling companies in this country that could care less if you have service or not. These people are doing a job, they are rated for doing the job, and I appreciate the fact that at least WE ARE GETTING CS FROM SOMEONE WHICH IS NON EXISTANT IN THIS COUNTRY.
Yes this is Dell and while the customer svc is appreciated I already talked them twice; so why they keep calling is a mystery and somewhat of a nuisance. Well, I guess it's positive that they are focused on customer service. They call at least 5x a day, almost daily. Though, it's interesting that they call this many times a day and when you actually need their help they take 7-10 days to call. Whats the logic here?
