I had this number 201-537-5857 text me and telling I have a outstanding balance of $673 on a payday loan and there's a court order against me and a sheriff officer is going to contact me with a warrant of arrest and documentation, and also that they may visit my workplace incase if I was not home.
A Ms Jennifer Calvary, text me stating she is with the financial crime enforcement network. Stated I owe $300. She also had all of banking info. And went in to say if I don't pay will forward info to the court house on Monday.
There is no financial crime enforcement network. Emails, texts, phone calls& faxes mean nothing. If there really was a problem you would not be warned that a summons is coming Tell her (DEMAND) you want the claim IN WRITING and have it MAILED to you (and wait for excuses & meaningless threats - also illegal). Otherwise ignore the caller.
Received a text from this number regarding a loan for $300? Quite confused, because lately I have been receiving texts from payday agencies trying to give me a lone for $3000. Block them as they come. The text threatens that they will be reporting my case to the local courts in 36 hours.
