The problem is that the calls are coming from India. They are not subject to any US law. There is no international felony as you claim that can subject them to prosecution. They use auto-dialers and they use caller ID spoofing to trick you into answering. The best advice is to let the call ring on and don't answer it. If you answer it they know there's a live person on the other end and will keep you on the autodialer list. You can also try to answer and when they ask for you, play dumb and tell them that you just got this phone number and the person they are looking for no longer has this phone number.
I keep getting phone calls from The Canadian Pharmacy, I have repeatedly asked them to stop calling me, after several attempts to get them to stop calling me and take my numbers off there phone list they still call, just got a phone call a few minutes ago, I am on the do not call list , both my numbers are on this list, I am not being nice anymore, They will hear exactly what I think of them every time they call me from now on, they are rude and do not care if they are bothering you, so game on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
