can someone, with out typing a long multiple paragraph description, say what this number is? idc about the profanity blah blah blah i just wanna know who this number belongs to please
This is a "one-ring" attempt at scamming you. A curious person (and more likely to be gullible, perhaps) will not be able to resist the temptation to call the number back. Which you shouldn't do: if everyone would stop calling back, the calls would diminish considerably. Once you call back, your number gets flagged as "live" and can then be shared with all kinds of scammers.
I received a call from this number today and have had several in the past few months. They say they are some pharmacy calling about medications I have ordered in the past. I have never ordered meds over the phone from a pharmacy in Canada or New Jersey, where the call seems to originate from. The caller is very hard to understand, but you can tell what they are asking. I just hung up, again. Can these calls be stopped?
This is the 4th call today I got from these clowns! But every call was under a different number. Didn't answer any of them bc unrecognized number. They hung up b4 voicemail kicked in and left no message. They knew I would not answer. But I guess they are pissed off that they can't get through my filter. As with all of the other 10 million attempted calls on previous days, i will add this number to the blocked list also. Other numbers that they used to try today were:
477.325.6846 - Not a real number (Probably Skype)
248.301.1515 - Not a real number (Probably Skype)
This number called my job. Know its a scam or telemarketer when it takes them a couple seconds to say anything. Also know its a scam or telemarketer when there is alot of noise in the background.
