I got a call from 3241 and they say they are from Microsoft calling to help me fix my computer. When I said that this was suspicious they say No, No, We are working for a company through Microsoft. They wanted me to go into my computer and bring up a website. I told them I had another call coming in and they called back three days later. I had a very hard time understanding them, very thick accents. Sounded like they were from India.
Got a robo call, came in mid-message, was talking (I think) about what you need to do to qualify for Credit Counseling... obviously a clumsy solicitation and a recorded one at that... isn't that completely illegal?
I am pretty sure I am on the DNC list and the number is a cell phone... it was a very poorly executed call and likely was not checked for Do-Not-Call suppressions. I may have something on my file I am unaware of, but I work for a financial institution and have good credit.
