I'm just wondering if this is one of those phone scams that they only need a few seconds of us on the line to tag our phones so they can call else where on our bill. I remember something like this happening before...could it be the same thing. I just got a call from this number as well, and he asked for the owner and I asked the company he was calling from and he said it, but too fast to understand....so I said I was going to put through the call and what was the name of the company again, and he said it one more time and then hung up. I still didn't get the name of the company since he had an accent and talked really fast!!!
OR maybe it is a telemarketer that gets paid by the calls and it has to register on the other end for 10 seconds....but he's a lazy telemarketer and doesn't want to actually do the work!! LOL
Got a call today, had some fun with the guy and totally pissed him off. I was very serious and wasn't offensive at all and he started calling me names and then I asked him if these calls are recorded and he hung up.
