They say they are a location service. They say they are verifying an address for an item that needs to be mailed.
I called back the number cuz I didn't understand the name that the caller was giving me. Anyway, she gave me their website http://www.everest-inc.com/
Told her I didn't know who they were calling about. She says she'll remove my number from the list.
We'll see if that happens. Only time will tell.
Same here, she said her name was AMY FISHER, or FISHEL. Couldn't really hear her, talking way too fast; said something about Everest? I don't know, she asked for my social and I told her to just send my the notice in the mail. I didn't mind since it was the wrong address. She said "oooookaayyy....."and immediately hung up. Tf?
Received a call on my cell, I usually ignore calls without Caller ID. A woman asked me to verify my location. Rambled off something about my location being needed for a mailout from receivership. When I asked what company she was calling from she hung up.
Any real collection agency won't need to call you to verify your address.
Calls me every day 3 times in a row asking for money saying they are a collection agency . I have nothing in collection i pay alll my bills ontime . They are harrassing me
A recorded message plays asking you to confirm the address of a person with the same last name as you. Then they say to call them at an 888 number. They have called 5X a day according to my caller ID and I finally answered today. STOP!
