I received a call from this number.  The caller ID name was "name not found."  I didn't answer the call and there was no message.  I'm blocking the number.

I have received calls from this number repeatedly saying that they have a grant for me. I repeatedly have told them I am NOT interested and I even told them they were scam artists! Today somebody called me from there just to say f*** you to me and then hang up. What a weirdo.

Yet ANOTHER overseas scam call using a U.S. phone number for caller ID purposes. I'm guessing someone on their end thought they were getting slick when they started using D.C. area code numbers, thinking they'll seem more believable now...  I've received so many of these fake "grant department" calls, it's almost a joke. Recently I  started asking the callers if they're familiar with Google, and then I ask if they've ever heard of doing a search on "who's calling me". They either get a little snippy or sometimes laugh, and then hang up on me. Next time, I'm going to ask if his mother (wife/daughter) knows what he's doing, and does he think she's proud of him.  Oh, or no...I'm going to say, "Really? That's such a coincidence!  I worked for that agency for 5 years! What floor are you on? Does Jane Doe still work in Accounting?" I can't stop them from calling, but I CAN waste their time while entertaining myself ;)
