I just got a second call from this number and answered it ... a foreign voiced man answered and wanted to give me a 9000 dollar rebate ... I argued with him telling him it was illegal to do these calls and the I would turn him in and the number to the authorities... he wanted to know who I was going to call ... had a response for everything I said ... I finally told him he was a scamming As%^*^ and to shove his calls right up his #$^*(^% ... he was still talking when I hung up ... OMG .. the nerve of these people ... sorry about the language but I got a bit worked up ... go ahead and answer it and flip them crap and see what happens ... you won't believe it ... I told him to google his own number and see all the complaints ... JERKS
Calls every day. Today, I let the ring back go through, and they asked for "Dan" - wrong name. Told them, and texted to Stop Calling. Also recently added my cell phone to the "do not call registry"
I got the call from 202-100-1000 three times this afternoon telling me that I am eligible for the $9000 grant. I told him that this is a scam and hung up. He kept on asking me why I don't want to accept the $9000. He has a heavy Asian accent. He gave me a website called www.mygrant.gov which is not a valid site either.
