I got two calls today from this number, another one on the 18th. Did not answer any on them...usually don't answer unknown calls. They left no messages. I think it is very strange.
I just got a call from this number and someone named Zach with a very strong accent from "Windows" tried to tell me my computer was sending them messages that I had a virus. When I asked for his name, company name, phone number and address he repeated his line about my computer. I explained I worked in IT and I needed his information to confirm his inquiry, after silence he hung up. Beware!!
The guy foreign accent called to tell me he was to check my windos for the computer. I informed him my company has an IT guy and if he was calling regarding one of the programs we use. Idiot just kept repeating he was for windos. Moron, then tried to say he was one of the Geek guys to check the computer. He couldn't even get his lie correct.
this ridiculously obvious number called me twice within ten minutes. did not answer either call, as i always investigate unknown numbers before reacting to them. thank you, 800notes. having read all the comments on this one, i half-wish i had picked up and harassed the scammer.
