Everyone who is receiving these unwanted harrasment calls from this same ph# 202-210-0054 including myself in a few minutes...we all need to go onto two United States Government websites go to contact page or report a complaint page & tell them about the calls each has been receiving harrassment.
Go to:
www.fcc.gov/comments choose on the top of form "proceedings" line drop down menu choose:
02-278 Telephone Consumer Protection Act...
Then fill out your personal information then your complaint/comments report as you have typed into comment box in this chat room.
I also plan on after writing my complaint in window described here above...
I will also go to FBI page and report through their Website tip hot line.
If both of these government agencies get enough complaints they will arrest these people & we will then not be bothered by them....and the chance of them victimizing, scamming someone who is not as intelligent as you or us will be eliminated.
They called on my cell, I could not understand the accent and they said they were from Washington, D.C. I asked them to leave the number and I would call them back. He told me to have a good day and hung up. For those of you who don't have a return number, the number is as follows: 202-210-0054. Have a great day. I installed a call id on my phone and it will always record the number. I also blocked this number from calling me.
I just received a call from this number. It sounded like an Indian speaking person. He said that I was to be the recipient of a sum of more than $9,000. I then interrupted him and said then this must be a scam. He answered that if I thought that then he had a big black dick for me. I then hung up. We did a reverse number search and found that this call came from a Nextel mobile phone and has been associated with lots of scam activity. It also shows on a map where the phone call originated from in DC. Just wanted to let everyone on here know it was reported to the NC Attorney General's Office. Thank you
I just received the same call, stating he was calling from the Federal Government, Grants Department and I am eligible for $9,000. Grant. I stated to him it was difficult for me to understand him, I asked him to repeat his name (James) and where he was calling from. He stated in an accent (maybe Indian) all I need is to give him my debit account number in order to transfer the funds. I then laught at him and asked how many fools do you think will fall for this scam. He stated "oll no this is not a scam". I continued to laugh and hung up on him. I plan to contact the attorney general's office also.
