Because these calls are almost 99% coming from India is why. We have no jurisdiction there. Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so. All we can do is report at this time and hope they can get on India to stop this.

Oh my goodness! I got a call from this number too a few minutes ago and this guy that wouldn't even pronounce his name clearly said that I had a lawsuit on hand and that the sheriff was going to call me back but from the number I knew it wasn't from around where I lived so I knew it had to be fake so I kind of went off on him saying that if I was getting sued why the heck are you calling me and not my lawyer. After that he called again and I went off on him again saying that I was going to report his number if he dares call again and he even started to yell at me! So even after that he continued to call me!!! I was scared out of my mind but thank goodness that there is something online about this number!
So, they are continuing this scam. Just got this call and he has an Indian accent but claimed to be Jack William. go to hell! Why don't the police investigate about this phone number's owner?
