I have received emails from Briggs Law Firm as well. Once in October and again last week and this morning. In October it was from James Dickerson and last week and today from William Spear, both claiming to be Senior Executives with the law firm. They say I owe $1250 to United Personal Loans and a suit will be filed against me in court. When I googled the Washington DC address, nothing comes up and no one answers the phone number associated. This is very scary and I'm really not sure what I should do.
Thank you everyone for the replies. This morning they just sent me the final notice saying I have 5 "working" days to pay the of course $1,250 before it goes to court.. it's honestly pathetic. The person goes by the name Jonny Morales in the e-mails I have been receiving
