This is a political robo call with very heavy religious undertones. It is Newt Gingrich's wife speaking on how America was founded by people who believe in God and how we need to get back to those times. It asked you to push "1" to speak with someone about a "donation" for a DVD. I have had a lot of political calls lately, but this is the first one asking for a donation.
Have received numerous calls from this number. Did not answer and they did not leave a message. Never answer a call from a number that is not Correctly and Accurately Identified on Caller ID. The caller ID on this number says Member Alert. Checked the number here and as you can see it is not Accurately Identified. The best action is to Never Answer A Call From A Number that you do not recognize or that is not Correctly and Accurately Identified on caller ID..You can always check the number and return a call if necessary. Make them identify themselves or we NO NOT ANSEWER
Send an email to your Congressmen and Senators explaining that you would like to hear their position concerning rampant telemarketing abuse. Explain how you don't believe the FTC and FCC isn't doing enough to solve the issue.
If their office doesn't reply, send another email thanking them for helping you decide who to vote for in the next election. It wouldn't hurt to mention that you will try to convince your spouse, voting aged children and friends to vote for their opponent come election time!
Politicians can play politics and make all the deals they want. However, ONLY the voters can elect them or toss a useless one from office!
