This is a political robo call with very heavy religious undertones. It is Newt Gingrich's wife speaking on how America was founded by people who believe in God and how we need to get back to those times. It asked you to push "1" to speak with someone about a "donation" for a DVD. I have had a lot of political calls lately, but this is the first one asking for a donation.
My caller ID just said WASHINGTON DC and the # 202-243-7444. This time I picked up the phone and hung up immediately. My answering machine is in another room but I could hear a woman speaking...then she was cut off. The machine didn't record her beginning of a message. Thanks to those who posted who the caller is...
There may be "no God in Government" and there is also no Peace in our Homes thanks to these constant calls. I do not answer any call I deem to be a telemarketer. I just hang up. That said I still get 5 plus unwanted calls each day. Naturally they are all exempt from the Do Not Call list. Another joke.
Just got a call at 3PM Eastern from caller ID 202-243-7444 on it was member alert, no message for I was not home, why and how can you get politics to stop! This is annoying and disturbing when you see Member Alert! They should be not allowed to make calls when you are on the national and local do not call list!!!
As stated by someone else - this is Gingrich pushing nothing but a movie to put religion in government and schools. Our fore fathers are turning over in their graves as they set up the government in a way to avoid this crap. Do not give me the crap that we have lost it and the fore fathers did not intend America to end up like this. They intended to keep religion out of politics and schools for a reason and that comes from a time when religion was everything. the message got one thing right, this country was founded on religion, but not to have us be tortured by those who do not have the same belief as others. Religion is what is ruining this country and world with those that fight wars based on it and those that feel the need to push it on to others.
Please believe in what you want, what god you want, what religion you want, but PLEASE do it in the privacy of your own home or house of worship.
While we are on the subject lets end this countries debt issues and start taxing religious institutions. Give them a 50% tax break but with all the money they have and all the prime real estate they have, a 50% tax break from the rest of the country would take this country out of debt real fast...
