This was "Amanda", a very pleasant robot voice claiming to be from "Home Protection", making an illegal call in violation of the National Do-Not-Call Registry. "She" was looking for homes to receive a free security system, but the line went dead in the middle of "her" spiel. Darn shame - I LOVE when these folks call. In the past I've had them on the line for 30 or more minutes, asking softball questions about their systems, and, best of all, setting up an appointment for an installation. When an installer comes, I hand them a copy of the NDNCR to give to their superiors, reminding them that they are working for a company that is violating the law with their sales practices, and suggesting that they might do better working for a more stable, law-abiding company. Sometimes you just gotta' fix things yourself...
I told the guy to stop calling, he asked if I was sleeping I said yes. He told me he would like to sleep between me and my wife! I told him to shut the [***] up and he proceeded to tell me he would shove his dick in my wife. I told him I would find him, cut his off and shove it down his throat. Then I told him I would kill him and he said he would kill me...... Kinda weird but kinda entertaining at the same time
