They call and if I'm home, I look up at the caller ID and laugh. I don't answer ANY calls with numbers I don't recognize. If it's important, they'll leave a message and I'll be the judge of that. Otherwise, these creeps are wasting their effort with me. Forget the DO NOT CALL. Hell, it's useless.

Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities.  You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws.  The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Called my home at 6:37 PST.  I do not pick up my phone unless I know who is calling, and I get several of these types of calls EVERY DAY - as do many of you, I'm sure.  They left no message.  My phone block is full - I am thinking of buying one like the one suggested above.  Very, very annoying.

Another number to add to my ever growing blocked list.  Sheesh.
