I also received a phone call from this number. They asked me if I was interested in receiving a loan and I told them no and the guy said to me," shut up you [***]." The guy sounded like he was Indian or Iranian. They still continue to call my phone but I don't pick up. I think it might be a scam so they can get all you info and try to steal you identity.
I kept getting phone calls from them and I told them I did not want a loan. So they started to call me then hang up when I picked up. I called back and talked to a supervisor only to be hung up on. So I called them back and hung up on them for about an hour Boy were they pissed. LOL
Contact the attorney general in your state and give them all of the information you have about the calling party. What they are doing is illegal, and if they happen to be in the United States, you can actually sue them and recover damages for harassment.
These people call me and said I was approved for $900.00 but I needed to pay a security deposit and once they received the money I will receive my loan plus a refund of the 168.00. First I spoke to Rick Johnson, then to Ron Patrick, then to John Smith. You are supposed to send the money through Western Union but once you do what they ask you you call them back and they request another 200.00 for taxes and you pay it and they said I could ck my account in about an hour. Then I called back and requested a transfer fee. They said the name of their company is Cash Advance. I am so stupid to believe because they are from Washington DC
and are americans but when you do the transfer have to be to the Philippines.
Theses people said the exact same things to me (word for word). When I first got the call and saw the area code I that it was from somebody in Washington DC.
