We got call from them 202-436-9100:

They almost scared my relative who came from India.

They used words like Government, US Federal kind of wording which is giving an impression something is important or serious matter.

Idiots, Scammers,

I dont know how come these people continue doing this kind of business, nobody is there to control them?

There's no way to stop people in India or Pakistan from initiating the calls.  But you can protect yourself with a call blocker.

Also report them.

They like to pick on single women, single mothers, the elderly and recent immigrants as well as established members of the Indian/Pakistan community.

Notify anyone you can in the Indian or Pakistani community for this scam.

(202) 436-9100 they called me from this number and I send them some money and the fact that some one posted that they received the grant money should I believe that post cause I need that money for me and family. Some answer me by the end of the day please thx.

NO!  This is a total scam!  Why would the government randomly call and offer people money?  It makes no sense.  What makes even less sense is having to pay up front in order to receive money.  There are many threads on this site from other numbers these scamming criminals call from.

got a call from these guys and when i called the number they told me to call they said they were from Federal government grant department.  They asked who i was speaking with and i told them my first name and then i asked them who i was speaking with and they hung up on me.  Pretty pissed i called  back and asked to talk to James allen and the same guy got on the phone.  When i asked him if he had just hung up on me he said yes, and hung up on me again.  SCAM  don't fall for any of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I think i am gonna do the same thing as the guy above and keep calling to piss them off!!!!!!!!!!
