I got the same call two weeks ago and they gave me a conformation code (BY587) and then they just called me back today and gave me a confirmation code (AB1149), plus they said I was receiving this grant because I have no criminal background and I laughed cause I've done 12 years in prison.....lol.... Definitely is a scam people so just ignore these retarded [***] people and don't send them a dime.
Same call same number same amount Of money 8500 but having to put in 260 to get back 8500 and it being for security reasons sounds pretty fishy even if I have the option of receiving it cash
I got a call yesterday regarding the same thing and another call today. Yesterday I told them that I was a fraud investigator, which was the truth, and she hang up. I got as much information as I could today. The woman with a heavy accent said that the US government randomly chose my name because I pay my taxes and do not have a criminal record to get $8500 and asked if I wanted it in my bank account or Western Union. I told them I would not give them any of my information and so said Western Union. They gave me the call number RZ124 and instructed me to call 202 738-4596 and give me the call number. I looked in the internet for this telephone number and the call number, which was used before. I am sure that some have called, but there are ways for use your telephone making calls all over the world, once you initialize the call. There are several ways to scam, so do your homework. The government would call you, would not give you money randomly - the government isn't a gambling ring, and the government would give money on the telephone. IF IT IS TOO GOOD TO BELIEVE, IT ISN'T. Today's call is from Unknown but yesterday was Ontario 226 122-1233.
