I just received a call from "Jonathan Knight from the IRS" claiming that they have suspected me of tax misconduct and that they have discovered that I am hiding money from the IRS. He went on to explain that this is a "timely matter" and that I must call him back to rectify this situation. Seemed like a scam to me. I called back and got the outgoing message "the person you are trying to reach......" If it was genuinely the IRS, it should have said "you have reached the office of the Internal Revenue Service......." I hope NOBODY falls for this guy and ends up losing their money.
I just got a call from this number 202-470-0142, it said I was hiding funds from the US Govt and I would be arrested... LOL, where are the funds, because I could sure use it to pay off some debt! DELETE!
Received a call from so call officer Marc Benson Batch # 15938. Requesting $1300 or else I would go to prison for up to 3 yrs or pay $35,000. He got upset when I told him it was a scam. I called the number a couple of times, but no one answer not even an answering machine.
