Got a call from 202-470-6954 at about 4:30 PM today and they left an extended automated message on my answering machine telling me to call my local Republican Congressman who, they said, was trying to destroy Medicare.
I got their number from dialing *69 and called them back. It was around 6:30 PM when I did that, and I only got a recoded message telling that I had reached Americans United for Change and that I could leave a messge.
I left an irate message telling them to never call my number again, and not to try to hide behind being a political organization. We'll see if they call me again. If they do, I will call them again when somebody is in their office and really give them a piece of my mind.
I know they will say they are allowed to call because they are a politically oriented organization, but after doing a little on-line research about them, I determined that they are funded by MoveOn.org, which is in turn funded by George Soros. That says it all.
You reveal yourself with such idiocies as claiming Move On is funded by George Soros. You must be just another right-winger who believes that all rich people OWE their loyalty only to the GOP.
Try something new: Do some research and get real facts before you go pointing your fingers at Move On, any liberals, any independents, or, for that matter, any other person who disagrees with the insanities being put forth by the GOP and the Tea-Baggers.
You might appear to have a bit of intelligence if you did so.
