Same/similar message left on my answering machine: "Officer Julie Smith from internal revenue service and the hotline to my division is 2022419746. Don't disregard this message and do return the call before we take any legal allegation against you. Goodbye and take care." When I called the number it was a voice mail with an Asian women's voice to leave my number (which I did not). Nothing on their message regarding IRS.
I got a few calls from these clowns today. The first time, I asked him for his agent # and told him I would verify his info w/the IRS and call him back, he then said I could not verify him because he works in Washington DC. I hung up on him and then called back. I told him he didn't work for the IRS, he then asked why are you calling me back then. I told him to waste his time, he then asked what I would do for him tonight? I tolld him to ask his mother, then he began to curse. So I hung up on him again. Later in the day I got another call from "Julie Smith", same nonesense...
Same as above from Julie smith. When I called back I spoke with a man who said he was from the IRS and Julie had left for the day. I told him I was checking the number because the message sounded very suspicious then he said okay and hung up on me.
