Interesting that you folks think everyone who lives in Washington, DC has something to do with the government or politics. There actually are lots of private citizens there.
Got calls from this number over the past two days....Yesterday they left no message on machine. Today I picked up and just set the phone down. I heard someone on the other end asking for a name - the name of a cat we had to put to sleep a few weeks ago. Incredible. Our cats for some reason do get mailings occasionally from insurance companies, time shares, AARP, etc. Gets me how pets would get on a mailing list. And now apparently a call list.
A man named Josh Turner called from, 202-524-5413 and asked for my wife by name. When I asked what for, he stated that he wanted to talk to her about a subscription renewal. When I asked "What subscription?" he hung up. I tried to call back twice with no success. Not surprising. They always ask for her. People like this must think women are stupid. They're not. I know my wife wouldn't go for this either.
