Ben Smokin is a JERK. I've been told these people are scammers - IRG & Associates. Claiming to be suing you or someone you know - I along with others have filed formal complaints with the FCC for this company. They are trying to get personal and financial info. I have asked them not to call me, but they think I know some Douglas guy who they claim to be taking to court...
Rachel with IRG left a message (secretary took message) and I returned her called. I wanted detailed information and she could not give it to, so she said. I informed her that I had a right to view the debt she says that I owe ($1000+). She stated that would be revealed after we made a settlement agreement. I stated again that she needed to fax or mail me the information. I thought better and told her to mail it instead. She haraassed me about giving her a fax number. I also told her not to call my job anymore and she wanted another number that I would not give her. When I would not give her a number she hung up in my face. I called back and she hung up again. I am supposed to get a letter in the mail. I will see.
I called a third time to see if I could get a physical address. The associate stated they only receive correspondance through fax(202 683 4151). When I asked for a physical address, he stated it is not company policy to give out the address. I stated I was filing a complaint with FCC. He put me on hold and came back to say he was transferring me. Only for the line to go dead.
I have received 15 calls from these jerks claiming they are looking for Ranger Tribble. They claim they are IRG & Associates, they don't have a legit website, they don't have nor will they give an address. I have told them on numerous occasions I am not the person they are seeking. They won't give out info, usually hang up, so now I am call them back each time they call me and wasting their time. They have promised to remove my name. They claim to be a .org and don't have a "do not call" list but will remove my number. We will see. Each time they call me, they are going to get about 5 calls from me wasting their time and asking why they work for such a slime bag company. I have filed 6 complaints for the first 6 calls to the FCC and they aren't acting. So I will fight back.
Everyone else do the same and we will shut out these people who are wasting our time.
Yeah. They would only provide some made up amount that I owed. I never took out a loan for the amount they stated. They would not provide an address or any more information. Once I told them I had no money to pay them anything or not even sure who IRG was calling about, it got ugly and I was hung up on.
I have returned a call to IRG and left a message. I have been completely debt free for over a year and monitor my credit report monthly. I have paid all of my previous debts so I know for a fact that this cannot be legitimate. My credit report has all of my accurate information e.g. mailing address, phone number and employer, and this company contacted my Grandmother at 7am who I haven’t lived with since I was 17. I am 28. They harassed her and said they have filed a civil suit against me but could not verify any information with her e.g. my middle initial; so she divulged no information to them. No legitimate professional company would allow such poor performance. .
