I received a voicemail from a person by the name of "Danny Archer" from the Department of Treasury. He was calling about an "enforcement action" that I was to appear before a magistrate. Person used a threatening tone indicating I owed money. Obviously a bogus call but for someone not familiar with these calls they may call this person back and give them money. Please be aware that the Department of Treasury/IRS will not call or email you, they will send a letter!! I have heard countless stories of people using "Green Dot" prepaid cards and sending the information over to the scammers.

Please be safe and do not fall for these scams. We work hard enough for our money.
Caller asked to speak with my husband, claimed a legal matter, confidential & would not discuss with me, yet it is urgent. No papers rec'd on said "legal matter". No company name given-inference that they are government agency.
I got a similar call today. They claimed to be with the US Treasury and said I owed $ on taxes. I started asking questions and the call dropped! I called back and was hung up on!
I have the same phone call from someone with thick Filipino accent who said there is court case filed against me by the US Treasury. When I called back, another person with thick accent answered and hung up as soon as I asked him for his badge number.
I received a similar call. The caller left his name as Danny Archer along with his phone number. At the end of his message, he said "God bless", which was our first clue it was a bogus call. My secretary called them back and they would not give her any information.
