I received a voicemail from a person by the name of "Danny Archer" from the Department of Treasury. He was calling about an "enforcement action" that I was to appear before a magistrate. Person used a threatening tone indicating I owed money. Obviously a bogus call but for someone not familiar with these calls they may call this person back and give them money. Please be aware that the Department of Treasury/IRS will not call or email you, they will send a letter!! I have heard countless stories of people using "Green Dot" prepaid cards and sending the information over to the scammers.

Please be safe and do not fall for these scams. We work hard enough for our money.
i also received a call from Shawn Miller on aug 8th . Said he was with treasure dept n I should hang up and call 202 640 5496 about a case filed against me . That's the same number he called me from . [***] not to smart .
Id' suggest that everyone making comments about this, to keep calling them back and wasting their time their lines. If you haven't figured it our they are calling from India through a DC phone number. The DC tele provider can do nothing about it.
I received a call this morning 09/04/2015 the young lady stated that the US Treasury dept. was starting a case on me and wanted to give me someone else's phone number to discuss the matter. I told her to have that person give me a call.
Got two calls. I don't know the number so I let it go to voice mail. He said his name was Danny and I have a fraud case filed against me with the us treasury and I better call them back or i'll face a federal judge......I knew this was a scam so I just deleted the messages. Nice try dumba$$, I ain't that stupid!
Ah, people, anybody from the government with serious issues sends a certified letter. They don't contact you initially by phone. The scammers just want your SSN to make fake IDs.
