I received a voicemail from a person by the name of "Danny Archer" from the Department of Treasury. He was calling about an "enforcement action" that I was to appear before a magistrate. Person used a threatening tone indicating I owed money. Obviously a bogus call but for someone not familiar with these calls they may call this person back and give them money. Please be aware that the Department of Treasury/IRS will not call or email you, they will send a letter!! I have heard countless stories of people using "Green Dot" prepaid cards and sending the information over to the scammers.

Please be safe and do not fall for these scams. We work hard enough for our money.
I got a call from "Danny Archer" today, September 1, 2015. He left a message stating that he was calling to "help" me regarding a pending suite against me by the U. S. Department of the Treasury, and implied that he is employed by the Treasury. I called him back, but no response yet. I am hoping, of course, that he is calling to inform me that I have "won the lottery" and that the gov't wants their cut. I will keep you posted if he calls back. Deep voice. Authoritative.
Comment: The IRS does send people unsigned letters without dates or postmarks. Is it a wonder that we are uncertain when we receive these scam calls?
'Danny Archer' rides on the back of a flea infested camel, with a cell phone to his ear, as he attempts to rip off the decent people of civilized nations.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
