Just received two phone calls from 202-657-6093. clicked off on first call. second call no one on the line! We need to report these numbers to the FCC. Go on the web for the FCC and fill out complaint form. If we don't report these numbers they can't do anything about it. I have reported several numbers to them and they do investigate these numbers.
Yes, and if you DO report these calls, they still don't do anything about it. Seriously, big waste of everyone's time. Buy a multi-call blocker off Amazon. Up to 2000 numbers, and even that will fill up in a hurry...
Just got a call from this number. Man with accent telling me the IRS wants to send me $7,500. All they have is my phone number and I have to supply information. Thus, sounds like the IRS wants to send me money but: they don't have my name, don't have my address, etc.!!!??? Man is calling from a room full of people and lots of talking (probably other scammers busy trying to scam) and when I mention I can hardly understand him as there is too much background noise on his end, he says, "what noise, there is no noise here." We didn't get to what kind of information he wants to get from my as this is an obvious scam and I hung up. Tried to call back the number and it is a quick beeping noise and cannot get through. BEWARE. I don't believe the IRS would operate this way. SCAM alert!
I just got a call from some doofus showing the number 202 657 6093 and claiming that he worked for the United States Federal Government. I angrily stated and said "You work for the United States Federal Government BUT ENGLISH IS NOT YOUR FIRST LANGUAGE?! Kindly remove this number form your list and do NOT call it again!"
