I recevied a call from this # today. I knew it was a scam , so I yelled very loud at him . saie YEAH, h with an africian tone of voice said to me [***] you and hung up on me so far so good.
Yep they been calling me too. Heavy accent so hard to understand but they said I had been chosen for grant money from the government. I asked the lady if she worked for an actual government agency and she said yes. I hope I can track down this fraud. She said I could get my $8,000 in grant money by giving my bank account number or credit card number. I told her off. :-)
they said I was awarded a government grant of 8,500 dollars. I needed to pick up at a money transfer place after I also give a 250 dollar deposit. They continue to keep calling. scam.
I just got a call from this number saying I am awarded an $8000 grant from the US government but then when I said what's the catch they hung up. SCAM!!
