I keep receiving calls from this number. When I start to speak, they hang up immediately. I have received abut 15-20 calls from them in the last week on my cell at all different times of the day.
Yep they been calling me too. Heavy accent so hard to understand but they said I had been chosen for grant money from the government. I asked the lady if she worked for an actual government agency and she said yes. I hope I can track down this fraud. She said I could get my $8,000 in grant money by giving my bank account number or credit card number. I told her off. :-)
they said I was awarded a government grant of 8,500 dollars. I needed to pick up at a money transfer place after I also give a 250 dollar deposit. They continue to keep calling. scam.
I just got a call from this number saying I am awarded an $8000 grant from the US government but then when I said what's the catch they hung up. SCAM!!
