This number has called me 8 times now, every single time I have told them to never call me again. They claim they are from the federal government that is going to give me anywhere between 6000 and 8000 dollars as a grant. They called me on a Saturday 4 times and have called 4 more times since then. This is a scam because they ask for personal and banking info, on a Saturday and on the PHONE! Both of those facts alone prove that it's not the federal government.
Indian sounding man on other end when he called me after work. Called three times during the day. No messages. Told me I was the winner of a government grant to start a new business, go back to school, etc. I said I was not interested and to take me off his list. He said why wouldn't I be interested? I said I wasn't interested in the scam. He proceeded to cuss me out. I laughed at him then hung up.
I asked if i could talk to someone above the indian lady that called me and she said quit wasting my time and started to be extremely rude just because i was asking questions about the whole grant scheme
When i answered the phone, this Indian guy asked for my name. I replied " Yes this is him, what is this regarding?" The guy got his words mixed up and then disconnected. There seemed to be a lot of noise of people talking in the background. When i called back and the line was connected, it said, "all circuits are busy please call back later."
