So you just HAD to look up the number of this "legit" company because you were so happy with their service, Uh huh, I really believe that,
ANY so called tech support company that cold calls you claiming there is something wrong with your computer and that they can fix it if you let them show you and then allow them remote access is a SCAM!! No two ways about it. They are ALWAYS liars. The only thing they can show you are harmless errors present in all computers. Claims that Windows is not updating, that you have one or more viruses, that hackers are in your computer RIGHT NOW, that your email is sending hundreds of suspect messages are all lies unless the caller is your own ISP or a tech support company that you have allowed to install monitoring software that reports unusual conditions. Any errors that you allow to be sent to Microsoft when a pop-up appears are done anonymously so even Microsoft does not know which computer is sending them and they do not share information on customers with third parties anyway.
