I also got the message regarding the "IRS" issue from 202-864-1240. Thought it was a scam, but glad I checked online to confirm. Thanks to everyone posting about these bogus scam calls. It helps everyone out.

I also got a voice mail saying there was a lawsuit pending and this is the final notice. The number to call is 202-864-1240. What a [***]!!!!

I got a call saying that IRS has filed a law suit against me and told me to call 202-864-1240 when I was out of country.  I sense it is a scam but just want to be sure, so I did a search on this number.  US government should do something about this.
