They just keep calling with variations of the same number. I wonder how they're getting beyond the national,do not call registry? I have my number listed. Vant understand them either. Makes no sense.
The caller is a foreigner, says they are a government employee. Tries to say you are receiving a loyalty grant that is tax free. I cut him off and he cursed me out. He even asked me if I speak american!!! Told him our national language is English and he would know that if he worked for the US government. I hung up on him and he called back cursing me out. Report these kind of calls to the Federal Trade Commission, they handle scam and fraud calls.
Got 8 calls from a "supposed" gov agency offering $10,200 in grant money. Told him I would NEVER give out ANY PERSONAL INFO, but that he could mail a paper check to my address & then I would take it to my bank myself & he said I must be high to refuse his offer. I told him several more times to mail it to my address & then he threatened to show up @ my door tonight & slap me till I was sober & accepted his offer. Told him to come on-that I would have him arrested. He kept telling me I must be high. & he would be @ my house in a little while.Does anyone have # to call to REPORT this SCAM????
I received the same call with the $10200 grant and they said they were calling from the federal american reserve bank of New York. Asked me to mail them a money order of $200 something dollars in order to get the grant. I reported them. I acted like I didn't understand it was a scam, just to see how far he would go. I asked him that one question and When he realized that I caught him he asked me to call him back if I want the offer and when I m ready to pay then he hung up.
well just to be fair I should point out that we actually do not have a national language. English is the most commonly spoken language in the US but our founding fathers deliberately did not establish an official language for this country. They were hoping we would be inclusive and tolerant of others.
