They just keep calling with variations of the same number. I wonder how they're getting beyond the national,do not call registry? I have my number listed. Vant understand them either. Makes no sense.
This was an obvious scam. I answered the phone and was asked for by someone whose first language was NOT English, she said she was with a company (couldn't understand the name when she said it) and that I was chosen at random to receive a large grant that I didn't have to pay back. When I asked who she was with, she just said, "OK..." and continued on with the script. After I told her I couldn't understand what she was saying, she hung up. Been getting these calls over and over. My number is unlisted and on the DNC list. Uncool, friends. Uncool.
This number calls multiple times a day, really early in the morning and on weekends! Strong accent that I could hardly understand, but it was complete bull. Something about a grant or scholarship that I was recieving....um, no. And he was very rude when I told him that I didn't need or want it.
