Got the same calls after blocking one number I got the other call from another number, I told her to make sure they dont call back that I am not falling for their [***]. The return call info make it look like verison support is calling
There was a woman with a heavy Indian accent and I could hear others in the background, she said she was tech support and asked me to go to my computer. My number isn't registered to any electronics (other than my phone) because I'm 16, so this was when I hung up.
I just received a call from this number also. It came in at 9:11 PM ET. It was a guy with a indian accent claiming to be with Windows tech support and asked me if I was in front of my computer. I told him I wanted to know why he was calling because I haven't called them for help. He kept repeating he was with Windows tech support. I gave my husband the phone and the man repeated the same message and said he couldn't remote access my computer. My husband told him to pound sand in not so nice words and the man started yelling at him, so he hung up. Sounds like a scam to me.
Total scam...They claim they are calling on behalf of Microsoft and want remote access to your pc. Hang up or play them a little, I did and they got really p&##ed off.
