Got the same calls after blocking one number I got the other call from another number, I told her to make sure they dont call back that I am not falling for their [***]. The return call info make it look like verison support is calling
A man with a heavy indian accente who said he was "John" called for the 3rd time. I asked for his MS employee ID#, after him yelling a bit he gave me a #MSN1029. He then started yelling at me again so I asked to speek to his supervisor who identify himself as Mak. When I asked for his Employe Id he hung up.
This is not Microsoft, they do not threaten or rase thier voice. All my professional interactions with MS have been great, and helpful. This is a scam
Received a call- similar to the others - caller had a heavy accent - claiming to be from Microsoft Tech support. He was angry. I said I have no issues. I got cursed at while i was hanging up the phone.
I played along. After they told me my computer was sending signals out to potential hackers I acted very concerned. I told him I already paid someone $75.00 yesterday to fix that problem (which I did not) They then went on to say this is a follow up call to make sure everything was working right. I told them what great customer service they have! He asked me to go to my computer and open up team viewer. I told him I was trying to open it but it wasn't working. Then I started to freak out. "Oh No!! Do you think I was hacked?" At this point I start acting hysterical convinced I was hacked. "Do you think they got my pictures, or worse by bank information?" He keeps telling me to calm down but I wasn't having it. I said I needed to take my computer to a computer repair place (I've worked at a computer repair place for the last 5 years) I had it on speaker phone so my computer techs could listen. They were laughing so hard. He kept telling me to push the windows key and enter all these commands but I kept telling him it wasn't working. After talking to 3 different people who tried to calm me down they finally agreed that they couldn't help me and I should take my computer in for repairs. I told them thanks for the follow up. Without them I would have never known my computer was in such need of protection from scammers and hackers. Im not going to lie, that call made my day!! HAHAHAHA
I wish I did what HAHAHA did but I had the same call as a few above Heavy Indian accent & got loud & hostile when I told him no I would not do it. They call my phone everyday at all times
