These people called me and told me to send them money

I received the same call. Saying I was going to be arrested for unpaid loans. i was going to lose my job if i didn't pay them 1000.00.they say I owe 20,000. for bad checks! This is unreal.I made a compliant to the lifelock and to the FTC.gov.I will see what will happen to these people.
In the meantime, you are going to have to do whatever you can to protect yourself. That includes letting them know they are running a scam and are reporting them to the authorities.
I keep getting numerous phone calls from this number as well. Indian decent. I can not even understand what he is saying. States that I am going to be arrested and there is an investigation against my social security number and to GOD BLESS ME! Where can I file a complaint/class action law suit against me? They are misrepresenting law firms out there claiming to have your information. Isnt that treated the same as impresinating a police officer? I have had someone spam my email accounts, get a hold of my checking account and attempt to cash "random checks". Best part, I DO NOT HAVE CHECKS on my account which clearly proves my point....SCAM!!!! Where can we report them?? Id like to get a class action law suit against these nasty people that are calling up to 5 times a day!!!!! Thats worse than 3rd party collection agencies. They have FDCPA laws, cant we get something on spamming phone calls..i think its called slamming??
I also just recieved this call from this number 205-258-1111. The man said he was " Alex White" and that he was from THE DISTRICT COURT.....first off i knew if it wasn't real because he would have stated from which court duh!!!!! anyways he continues to tell me that I am under investigation and that officers will come to my home and arrest me. I applied for a payday loan of $500 last week and should have never done it. First I got scammed out of $1500.00, had to cut up my bank card and now I'm going to go change my social sec number if possible. I am recieveing at least 20-25 calls per day at least. If there is a class Action law suit then I'd like to participate. These people are impersonating attorneys and threating decent working American familys. It's my Birthday btw and so i Answered the call on speaker and my entire friends and family heard this man threaten to come to my house and arrest me. MY SIX YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HEARD THIS!!!!!!!!!!! I am so upset and i dont know what to do. please help someone or let me know what to do. this has to be stopped!!!! where is our Government at when their people need protecting? we are constantly being harrassed and pursued.
