SAME PERSON(DAVID WILLIAMS)CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THE SAME THING,I"D HAVE A WARRANT ISSUED FOR MY ARREST IF I DID"NT PAY $1,859.HE CLAIMS TO BE AN ATTORNEY,AND WANTS ME TO PAY USING "A GREEN DOT MONEY PAK".WON"T SEND ME ANY INFO UNTIL IT"S PAID IN FULL.

Tell Mr. Williams to look under his pillow tonight, because the tooth fairy is going to leave a warrant for arrest there.

An attorney wouldn't threaten you with arrest, because it violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).  He can't have you arrested, anyway, because debts (except for child support) are not criminal matters, but rather civil matters.  Refusing to send info about the debt until it is paid in full also violates the FDCPA.  And to expect someone to pay a random caller an extortion fee with an untraceable Green Dot Money Pak?  What kind of fool would expect anyone to fall for that?

Maybe Mr. Williams is an attorney in India.  If so, he may well be able to get an Indian court to do what he is threatening to do to you.  But good luck to him trying to get that enforced here.

I have been receiving the same call for moths about I am getting arrested for check fraud or I need to pay 1000.00.... Obviously it's spam and seeing all of these comments confirms that.... There of Indian decent and I'm getting annoyed
