Total BS. You can't even understand him-- also, if I was getting arrested I don't think I would be getting a call on the phone to let me know from some dude not even from the state I live in. Dummy.
They called me today stating the same thing. They said that I owed $1859 in debt for check fraud and laundering and that I had to pay a minimum of $400 today within an hour of speaking to me. I asked them who was suing me so to speak and they said it was a mix of debt collectors from medical bills, student loans, mortgages, etc. I asked what companies and they would not tell me. They said that I would receive the information 5-7 days after it was paid in full. I said no thanks. He replied well if you fail to pay then I will follow through with the law suit and I will have a warrant for your arrest at your mailing address. I laughed and said go ahead (because its a p.o. Box) so needless to say jokes on them lol.after receiving these calls, I googled the number and saw all of these posts confirming they were attempting to be scam artist. However, with this girl, they were very unsuccessful.
DAVID WILLIAMS CALLED ME ON 3-21-13, AND BASICALLY TOLD ME I WAS BEING CHARGED WITH "CHECK FRAUD".SAID I NEED TO PAY $300.00 EVERY MONTH ,UNTIL I PAID $1,859 IN FULL.REFUSED TO SEND ANY PAPERWORK OR INFO ON VARIOUS "CREDITORS" UNTIL IT WAS PAID IN FULL WITH A "GREENDOT MONEY PAK". FOUND OUT THESE ARE "UNTRACEABLE".I ASKED FOR PHONE NUMBERS,AND ADDRESSES OF CREDITORS,HE SAID THERE WAS NONE.SAID IF I DON"T PAY,I"LL GET ARRESTED AND GO TO JAIL.
I got a voicemail from this idiot today. I am highly upset because I have never been to Jail, and I do not do crazy things to go to jail. I will report this to the police soon.
This nut has been calling me for 2 weeks, when I call back there's no answer. finally I talked with him and was not able to understand ANYTHING he said. I hung up on him, then got a call from # that showed our city's city police initials. We talked and from what I could understand he needed a payment of $400.00 today. after stating I don't have it I was then instructed to go to CVS and purchase a Green Dot Coupon, then send $100.00 today . SO, I told him I am praying for his soul and if this is true, then issue an arrest warrant for me. I want this nutt and all like him to be punished. Good people are having hard enough times as it is without this cruel nonsense!!!!! Find him and I will prosecute!!!!! i know this is scam. i receive call from 205-258-1111.this is fraud.
