I answered before I checked this website. It was a computer voice that just said "goodbye". I thought it was funny. Now I know not to answer this call.

Caller ID said "SURVEY". Pushed the blacklist button on our call blocker. Callus interuptus. Done. Then came here to see what kind of slimeballs we blocked. Credit card slimeballs. Should have known.
I think they use the bogus "Survey" in the caller ID, and probably ask you a few questions if you agree to talk to them...to get around the DO NOT CALL rules...people taking "surveys" are not covered, just like politicians and charities.
I know that when cid shows something like V121311580 that it will be a telemarketer. I picked up but didn't say anything just to see what company name and type to add to my blocked list. The call didn't say anything but after awhile I got the "good-bye" voice that I know by heart. Will now block, thanks for the info from all who post.
Called our DNC registered landline on 12/13/2014 @ 01:54 PM from Tuscaloosa, AL. Caller ID shows V12131354390014. Rachel or her girlfriends call from multiple locations daily. We don't answer callers we don't know, then Blacklist them.
I get these calls constantly. I am thinking of talking with them & stringing them along to waste their time. Of course I would not give any real information.
